One more look at suburban farmland

Efforts to save farmland and open space across Erie County were detailed in a story that ran Tuesday in The Buffalo News.

But for a better picture of the development pressure facing some of these suburban towns here is a map showing protected farmland and open space, in green, against the backdrop of single-family parcels, in tan.

The map was created by Enterprise Editor Patrick Lakamp.

The Europeans played exceptionally well the entire time. With that being said, I always love how the USA teams play vs entire continents. Also, the other players usually start their careers in their respective countries and then come to the US to play & make millions. They gain, fame, experience, a relatively safe environment & fortune. Without our system, none of that would be possible. Europe beat the US but I am extremely proud of the team but mostly of the USA. ( Corny isn't it? )

Maybe listen to Paul McGinley's exit interview after Europe won... after a few minutes Sergio Garcia told him to shut up! He had been giving too much info on how their team gets it right every year.
